Annual General Meeting 2021 (Cancelled)

What is Annual General Meeting (AGM):

Under the BMF Constitution, BMF is required to hold an Annual General Meeting(AGM) and election to report the activities undertaken by the organization during the year. This event is usually attended by members and other community organisations. Firstly, BMF Board and BMF Executive teams report on their activities and updates the members on the action and initiatives for the year. Furthermore, we also provide members with the financial report and annual report to ensure transparency and accountability as well as answering any questions our members might have. Secondly, we nominate the Board Members to our members and then hold the election. After the election, we announce the outcome of the election and we then confirm the new Board Members.

AGM brings about an opportunity for members to play a role in BMF by voting for new board members.

However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we could not hold our AGM in the year 2020. Given that, this year’s AGM covers the reports for the last two years.

AGM is an important event for BMF and everyone is encouraged to attend this meeting. The meeting agenda includes:

• Presentation of the annual report, including the financial report.

• Election of new Board members.

Keep an eye for updates as we may add some more items to the agenda.
